Where do you figure he is from Tara? Nebraska? Wisconsin?

Looks like the mods figured out pretty quick where he is from. He gone!

As to the subject matter, there are two sides to the story. Bins have their place and have made me a lot of money over the years. Sometimes those bins are not full for more than a couple of months because a lot of times the grain was sold several months before it went in those bins. People somehow have the idea that forward pricing means dumping your grain on the market at harvest. Not necessarily true. I don't advocate forward pricing 100% or even 75%'of your crop but it has it's place. This idea that you have to grow it and bin it before you sell it is hogwash. Having enough storage for two or three crops has a higher probability of costing you money than making you money over a period of several years.
