Mid-Missouri | I didn't say that the tractor was 40 years old. I said that interior can look like that if the machine was built within the last 40 years (about when they started using upholstery).
We have numerous "cared for" Deere tractors between 3500-6000 hours that have upholstery falling apart. Maybe the operator of this tractor didn't like the fabric flopping around and decided to pull it off the paneling. I am not sure what happened. I wouldn't want to own the tractor and operate it like that for very long...but I could definitely see how it could get in that condition. | |
