Subject: RE: work benches. . . ?

Shelbina, Missouri (NEMO)
I recommend the Stor-Loc over McTavish. I have both in my shop.

The Stor-Loc is much easier to divide drawers for small parts storage. It may have changed now, but when I bought mine, McTavish had no drawer dividers available at all.

The McTavish also uses the same drawer for all drawer heights. The only difference between a 4" drawer and a 12" drawer is the plate in the front to fill the gap. The actual drawer is always gonna be 4" deep. It's very easy for things to fall out of the drawers and get wedged in there. I had a bolt fall out of one of mine and I thought I was gonna have to torch the bench apart to get it out...
