Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | I don't think the farmer's SOL is any of the LL's business. If the LL thinks he can do better (better can be cash, timeliness, or really anything the LL finds valuable) renting elsewhere, he should rent elsewhere. It's not like most farmers make their entire living off one LL anyway.
On that same note, what if the farmer has some other source of income that allows him a better SOL? Maybe he wrote a hit song for Blake Shelton, or his wife founded Pinterest, or his wife is a school teacher? Maybe I should ask it this way: Why should a professional farmer's wife have to go get a job in town just so the LL can have a bigger paycheck?
I dare anyone to ask their lawyer if the lawyer's wife is pulling her weight so that he can give rock bottom pricing on his legal advice.
