| You expect a young farmer to lose 50 dollars an acre do you can live better then him. He will be broke and you will be forced to lower your rent. I don't care what taxes are you probably are making 200-250 profit after taxes and it isn't enough. No one guarantees a farmer can make money but the landowners have become comfortable with big rents and a comfy lifestyle. Landowners are comfortable thinking they aren't at risk either.
