In your post below, you mention several bins"

""Still all the merchandisers seem to think there's a beau coup amount of grain yet to come.. as of tonight I have 5 bins empty.. I'm on the floor of bins 6 and 7.. with 5 more to go.. of this.. I only have.. 3 that are not priced."""

What is the total storage capacity of the bins you talk about..??

PS-----I know your backyard is the center of the universe for determining the price of corn in the United States, so you may find it difficult to know that this disconnect you talk about may not be reality.......based on the quick ship spot price bids we had at three of our wet mills last weekend, it appears that 10-15 cents up turned on more corn than we could physically handle at some locations...that was about $3.70 cash...

not everyone is a flat price seller......the other big component in the market is the elevator/commercial hedger......less than nickel move in basis would turn on millions of bushels prior to the report....

hope you have a good year

Ray post is why Maize says watch the carry.
Its why I say there plenty of corn moving RIGHT NOW.
This DOES NOT mean farmers have to fire up the trucks either with Ray's "less than nickel move in basis"
Friday the ZCH/N spread trades, traded nearly HALF the volume of ZCN itself.
