If I was a "good" landlord that was willing to work with you in the hard times, I would be greatly offended if I heard that you were paying a lot more money for a different farm of similar quality.
thats why I have never figured out why a farmer would bid on a public cash rent auction, even if you came in 2 or 3 at say $300 a acre wouldn't that make all your rented acres at least $300 cause that's what you were willing to give and your landowners will know that?
have had very few landlords who didn't think their land was the best .most think their land is a lot better then it is
