If I was a "good" landlord that was willing to work with you in the hard times, I would be greatly offended if I heard that you were paying a lot more money for a different farm of similar quality. thats why I have never figured out why a farmer would bid on a public cash rent auction, even if you came in 2 or 3 at say $300 a acre wouldn't that make all your rented acres at least $300 cause that's what you were willing to give and your landowners will know that? |
