So what's your take on the stock market
IMO we slosh around a bit and grind down to 15K and then off we go again
Personally I have limit orders in on a few stocks to buy. stocks with 4-5% dividends and are nearing 7 P/E that have had the snot beat out of them for about the last year. These are stable and sound companies that have been the victim of money flow to the short side. When they do coil and blow the shorts will drive em up 20-30% instantly just getting out and longs will drive em another 20-30%.
A lot of people got burned by bailing at the bottom of the cycle in 09. By dumb luck I stepped in and have enjoyed an almost 3X ride. I almost bailed at 2X and it just kept going.
It's time for a correction. Maybe a good one. But unless something fundamentally changes I'm looking to buy value
One thing is for certain. Being a bear in the commodities market has been right more than wrong for a long time. And being a bull in the equities market had been right more than wrong for a long time.
Just the way it is. Traders like to be bullish stocks and bearish commodities. | |
