Smart roads and cars will make pileups in the winter a thing of the past. If any car goes out of control that will be reported to the road and the road will report the accident to all following vehicles. Those vehicles will slow down unlike the current situation where dumb drivers drive way too fast for the conditions and run into an accident that they can't even see until it's far too late.
