NE | Amen dt4020. In our district they tried to pass a new 40 million dollar school bond and thankfully it failed. They will try again now every six months until they get it passed. They always do. No mention of why the school superintendant makes 150k/yr. and now has an assistant that makes 90k. along with tripling the number of counselers all in a district that has seen enrollment drop 25% in the last 30 yrs.
In Lincoln, Steve Joel, the superintendent actually makes 300K BEFORE health ins. and pension. That is almost like some rock star or athlete and yet they still complain that it is not enough. It is mind boggling! | |
