| Very weird indeed. Even the typically bearish analyst I read was left scratching his head.
The ERS trade report came out today, but that was bullish as all get out (beef imports have dropped right off back to year ago levels).
Box beef price is going up hand-over-first.
Cash trade is up.
Volume ended up being very low with some contracts locked limit down after only around 20-30 contracts traded.
I have to wonder if it was the result of traders being forced into liquidating for other reasons because all the volatility in other markets? That, or there's some insider secret that we don't know about yet. Or, even more likely, I'm just missing something. | |
