im pretty sure they are not the same thing 75-90 is synthetic Not a good idea to mix synthetic with regular oil. if your starting from empty then no wouldn't be a problem
Good rule of thumb is not mixing them, but as long as it's not a PAG synthetic, compatibility isn't much of an issue. Many of the automotive/equipment gear lubes are PAO based synthetics and can be mixed with mineral oil bases without issues,just reduce the service interval. |
