Wonder if that will be the feather that brakes quite a few farmers back ?  with this grain market in the dumper.    Us old guys had our interest rates.  The universitys have taught greed for I suppose 45 or 50 years now.   If you aren't getting bigger you are loosing out, what a crop of s.  Goodluck to all,  we all need it !  Archie                ps:   I wonder if those investors that paid for leases 5 to 6 times what some of the land was worth for gas and oil leases in Eastern Ohio and Western PA and WV .    The way I hear;  some of that land lease that nothing was started on;  will runout in the not too distant future .

Archie thanks for the thoughts, but I think 179 is a nice tool if used wisely.  Kinda like anything in this world.   Sure it can be abused by writing off capital purchases way faster than the term of the financing.    But at least it is up to each operator whether or not to use it;  unlike super high interest rates...
