Good discussion! The estate tax, along with a legislature of citizen/legislators and and military of citizen/soldiers were part of the foundations of our country back to the founding fathers.

When the estate tax virtually disappears, legislator and military become life-long full time occupations we are getting away from some of the key principles upon which this country was founded.
