S Illinois | Beans were actually pretty good sales and shipments. This weekly soy shipment was the highest in the last 5 years for the last week in Dec, besting last years shipment by 200k. Sales were the second highest for the last week in Dec in the last 5 years trailing last years sale by 200k. For the year we are down 5MMT when compared to last year and currently USDA has us forecast down 3.5 MMT.
Once nice thing is we don't have the constant sale cancellation talk like last year. Although to be fair we did have 230 k in bean cancellations with unknown having 120k in cancellations and the bulk of the other 110k split between 4 countries.
