Just my real estate taxes come to about 50 cents a bushel. Shouldn't you at least include the taxes into the equation. Hell add to it personal property tax up keep and insurance and I bet I am closer to $1.00 a bushel for the privilege of owning the land before I even make a payment.
My number do include that. I am fortunate that my taxes on land are very very low. I spend more on hand cleaner and shop towels in a year than I do on an 80 for tax purposes
I guess the moral of this thread. Lotta gap in COP between operations. A lot.
