eastern south central KS | Normally I think you're too bullish Jon, but certainly agree with you that the boat is loaded on the short side and all we need is a trigger to get at least a short covering rally. World situation in wheat is bearish, carryover is bearish, exports are poor etc. These things are are well known by the market; thus the potential for the rally. That said, I still am beating myself up personally for not hedging a portion of my 2016 wheat production back around the 12th of July when market was mucho $ higher. I did heavily hedge my 15 corn crop and to some degree beans; how could I not extend that to 16 wheat? | |
