Possible harvest prices for corn in 2016

If you plot out his data and do a statistical analysis you see that for any spring price above $3 or so the error becomes increasingly large. The black line is the regression on spring price on harvest price. The two blue lines are the rough limits to the range of possibilities as the spring price increases above $3. The predicted harvest price for a $3.80 spring price is about $3.65 but the 95% confidence interval is $2.20 to $5.20. Not so useful.
This is basically the same conclusion you come to if you use his histogram.
Corrected: my error $2.65 to the intended to say $3.65.
