Rockford, IL | I misspoke in saying that the subsidy come off of the MPCI policy. I should have stated that the additional subsidy off of the whole farm. If you add MPCI on top of the WFRP you can get up to an additional 50% off of the already highly subsidized WFRP which can be huge for some and like I said there are reasons why a producer should purchase both. It may not be a perfect fit for all farmers to buy both but for many it will. | |
