I would think it would be pretty hard to grow corn for less than $400 acre inputs. So you spend $200 and the landlord spends $200. Now you give him an extra $100 (your idea) and you're into this deal $300 and you get half of the crop. Then you have to keep a machinery line going and eat.............good luck.
Is this 50/50 lease fair?
