East Central Nebraska | +1000 Womp. Womp hit the nail on the head! Cash and liquidity matter on the way down. The markets will not save us like the super cycle years of 06-13. Most cashflows are negative for 2016. Even those with strong equity positions will burn equity much faster than they realize. There are those who are still aggressively expanding with little regard to cost (paying high rents and paying high land prices). They still haven't realized the impact it will have on working capital. I always do a 3 year cashflow with my crop insurance guarantee. It's always shocking to me how fast the money disappears. | |
