So much depends on truck type / year. Had a '76 Transtar II @ 176 w.b. it worked. Cabover ughh. Went to a '85 Volvo conv. that had a 205" w.b. no problem, turned shorter. Then a '95 T-800 at 235 w.b. Turned shorter than the 205" Volvo. Now have a '03 T-600 at 255 w.b. and still get along ok. Narrowest drive is about 30 ft. Drive it and see what it will do.
