North of London | No maps for our 'time capsules'.
We just tucked them in a corner of somewhere that might be pulled apart someday like the bottom of cupboards.
Often just a selection of the coins for that year in a little baggie and perhaps a short note.
Think one we put a local paper from that date in it.
May never be found either but may give someone a few moments to stop and think about the past if they find it.
Neighbours moved into a house my relatives used to own and when we met them told them of the connection so about a year later I met him one day and he checked about my aunt and uncle living there and when I confirmed he pulled out his wallet and showed mr a picture they had found behind some baseboard they pulled out to redo a room for a nursery.
It a school picture of my cousin from early 1950ies so I passed it on to him.
Small unintended time capsule. | |
