i would farm the whole county on a true 50/50 lease if i could get one....
i have one share crop agreement, and it is 50/50 on all CROP inputs
100% me on machinery and labor, and i pay a rent "bonus" based on the price of corn
i think a true 50/50 is screwing the LL

While I wouldn't go as far as you, I agree that 50/50s are slanted in the farmer's favor. As cash rents went up, the value that each party is bringing to the table moved, and the LL needs to be compensated for that, IMO.
