The fact russia stepped in and filled the oil shoes of those who got put in the closet is the same thing that can happen with farmers here decreasing production. Its a condundrum but it is the life of cycles. Sucks so best get those target orders in and grab that lucky rabbits foot.
If oil can't pop on a saudi war scare why should corn, beans or wheat do the same on a weather scare? I'm thinking the SPR is about the same days of use as corn is or is that a guess that is completely wrong? Just thinking aloud as maybe we are getting closer to knockin on heavens door here. Getting dark to dark to see. Just doesn't look like its dark enough in commodity land:(
