East Arkansas | I honestly cannot understand these working capital discussions....
Is it the opinion of many on this board that one cannot be worthy of a bank loan when they have a net worth of 10-15 million dollars but very little if any cash on hand? A lot of these guys have more money than the bank owner.
How does anyone under the age of 40 expand or better yet ever get started in this business with all this "working" capital sitting around. 20 years ago when I started I had very few assets and in turn less net worth! I had a few assets and the bank loaned me twice the value Along with first lien on the crop.
One of the wealthiest men I ever knew told me how cash poor he always was, said that's what a bank is for. FYI, he also owned part of a bank. | |
