Reality is it's a management problem , that looks to me like about the only way to fix it is by selling some assets to pay off the debt. If he can't get anybody to restructure the debt because of past performance over the last few years, writing is pretty much on the wall. Back in the 70s - 80s debt restructure with equity to burn would have been no problem.
