I think were talking technicalities here. If you have no working capitol its going to be awful hard to get a loan even if you can show that you think you can pay off loans. I'm with Coup on this one. Farmed for a long time and been on the poor side of working capitol and believe me, more working capitol is better. I also realize the different point a guy is in his farming career is going to make a difference on a guys working capitol position.  I realize working capitol is not cash flow but it gives you an idea how you are doing if you figure it at the same time each year.  I guess I'm a little out of the loop but, I think working capitol is kinda like a balance sheet for each year.  Good Luck
