Subject: RE: LIDAR Maps

NW Ohio
I have used OGRIP's data for estimating several jobs. I was one of the many Trimble dealers that asked them to make it possible to use third party data for topoing. They always stated that it wasn't accurate enough. Two years ago at the National Farm Machinery show, I showed my Rep the data in the picture which the black topo lines were done with a FMX survey (RTK) and the black lines are extracted data from LIDAR (1 foot contour interval). They are so close it is ridiculous. He took me over to the Farm Works Project Manager to show him the same. 6 months later, we could use the data.
