I'm almost nervous to reply because I know everyone has different feelings about test weight on here! I guess the only comment I would add is; that 55 gallon drum full of oats would weight less then the same drum filled with wheat. Oats weights 32lbs/Bu and wheat 60lbs/bu. So at 5.9 Bu you get 189 lbs of oats or 354 lbs of wheat. Hopefully that example shows my point of view on why the test weight would affect weight but not volume
