Tip of the Thumb of Michigan | The 4500 was good. The auger was only 12" so alittle slow with real wet corn. We just got a new cart so I looked at a hundred used ones on tractor house. Basically I started by going to mfg websites and looking at load out heights in brochures. That probably won't help with 20 year old carts, but if you can get a measurement from s prospective cart, you'll want a minimum of 18" from rubber boot to box side for ease. We worked with about 4" and we could load 90%, but had more than a few scrape marks on the auger of the 1150.
There is a smaller cart in the AgTalk classifieds today. |
