cropsey, il 61731 | I agree that is a cynical point of view, but you might just be right. We tend to have this hope in Jesus that is supposed to be played out here as a healing of our land (as the verse states). However, we are also winding down and who knows if that takes 2 years, 200 or 2000 or more years, but clearly the trend is downward. I guess I hoped from a purely human standpoint that one generation would not want the next generation to make the same mistake or that just because it happens doesn't mean everyone was behaving the same way. Instead it's a pride issue where if I did something it had to be ok. To tie it off once again with John's initial post, bankers say the words Mr. Darth Vader uttered as he shot down tie fighters: "all too easy". | |
