The closer you stay on the better it works. I started with markers on the strip-tiller first year then went to SFII 2ond year now RTK. A reasonable way to start is to have someone with corrected gps like SFII or RTK do your strips then drive it with the planter, bigger berms better so you can see. This area has been 90% plus strip-til for at least 10 years probably.
