Subject: RE: Advice on Agco tractors

I have a White 8710 tractor. I like it a lot, but it has had a few electrical issues. I have a local dealer that is very good about helping me get back up and running. Currently on the classifieds section of NAT there is a an Agco DT200 that I would be very interested in myself if it fit my budget. I believe it has the same engine and transmission (18 speed power shift) as my White. Probably about the same tractor, just orange instead of silver in color. It's listed for $62,500. There is also a White 8510 listed with just over 3000 hours for $42,500. Don't know if it would quite be enough hp for you, but it says it is turned up to 185 hp. Same frame and engine (Cummins 8.3) as my 8710. Don't know if you have a particular color in mind, but Challenger (part of the Agco family tree) tractors seem to be pretty well liked, and you might find a good one with a CVT well within your price range. Have a cousin who runs almost all Challengers and he likes them.
