edgerton ks. | Same here. The one that really get's me is HEL ground. A lot of our gently sloping ground is designated highly erodible. In order to meet most compliance plans they state 1 year of soybean's followed by a small grain or corn crop. There are farms here that plant continuous soybeans and report the plantings to FSA yearly. Obviously there is NO correspondence between FSA and NRCS. You would think this would be a no brainer to check compliance. Don't even have to see the field or leave the office. Hmmmm..... | |
