The common belief that those things are 'free' is false.
The way that works is US taxpayers are required to give part of their money to US government IRS every year. Government then uses that money to pay for some of the stuff that government does, including returning part of that money to taxpayers in the form of 'free' college education, healthcare, Medicare, and Medicade. Because US government does more stuff than taxpayers money can buy, they print more money to pay for that more government stuff.
The IRS is an arm of the private federal reserve. The US government does not get squat from money going to the IRS other than a ballooning debt. The money going to the IRS is in essence the gun that the federal reserve uses to pay the interest back to itself on the debt they created from nothing and lent to the US Treasury. |
