Eastern ND | Come on up! It was fun seeing a couple of guys from southern MN and Iowa come up here a couple years ago, in SAT's area, and try to no-til soybeans and corn. They thought they were going to show us how to farm. Rude awakening for them. Both gone. Both ended up with weed patches. Got 4 inches of rain overnight in spring and drove by their field-- the planter was almost covered in water, the gravity seed wagon was open on top and was sitting in 4 ft of water. Probably enjoyed our - .70 corn basis, and -1.00 bean basis also. | |
