Clark, SD | The reason for that is because when you apply your P and K you're not going to be using that for years, P and K only move 1/4 to 1/2" per year. There are going to be some losses in the amount of time it takes those nutrients to be used, and don't tell me that the roots are going to be able to use all the fertilizer spread on top of the ground. You can ask any agronomist and they're going to say you should apply more than the recommended rate that the lab gives you on your soil tests. | |
