on removal rate broadcast vs removal rate banding.

that is not the concept behind banding. 150 bu corn is approx 50 units of P2O5 taken off the field. by banding that 50 units.... moving your band 10"/yr for 3 yrs, I can with most certainty assure you will probably see soil test results that have improved from yr 1 to yr 3.

Remember, soil test gives you the probability of what might theoretically be available to the crop in the near by future. That's a lot of if's in one statement, all the stars have to line up just right for the best results.

It does not give you absolute values of what is in the soil profile totally.
