I got $328 for 15 years on 160 acres. Payment limitations come into play real quick. Signing bonus and cost share are figured in for limitation. If you're not careful, a lot of that can be left on the table.
The regular Cost share is not figured in the payment limitations of $50 k per year but the incentive cost share(pip) , sign up bonus and annual payments are in the $50 k limitations.
I do a lot of custom CRP seedings and this what I was told from fsa because my customers ask me all the time. Now I am not saying the rules have not changed but it was what I was told.
Hopefully this is still correct. But if you put in a 100 acre field at 300 per acre payment you would hit your payment limit with the signing bonus, pip and annual payment in a hurry. |
