| I thought about some rocky knobs we have in ne Ks and they gave me a price of 150 a acre. When 5 years ago it would have been 50 to 60 an acre and they also have a program for keeping pasture from being broke they will pay you 20 an acre still let you graze or hay it. My initial thoughts are well if anybody thinks land price or rent is coming down it doesn't look like it to me. I would think if you have a rocky knob or low producing piece of farm ground 150 isn't a bad profit for a landowner. Really wouldn't hurt my feelings if some went back to Crp. | |
