I get what your saying Rich. I just wanted to make you aware that my old 1740, which I suspect is about the same size / capacity as the 1845, will nose over with more than 600# on the forklift tines. The Case uniloader forklift kit was a rear weight so heavy that it would stand the skid loader on it's rear by weight alone if not for that add on rear caster wheel.
I have run both Bobcat with foot controls and Case uniloaders with hand controls, I find the hand controls much quicker and easier to operate. The uniloader has a foot control for the grab fork, which I always found to be a PITA to operate. The Bobcat is a more reliable machine. Both have so much machinery compacted in so small a space that they are hard for a skinny young guy to repair and darn near impossible for a fat old guy.
