West Ky | 40 acres at 5200. 30 acres tillable and it's very poor dirt cut up by creeks and ditches and washes very badly. 115bu corn Aph and 35 beans.
Another piece sold at 5200 that was 100 acres with 80 tilleable. Very hilly ground with lots of ditches and poor dirt as well.
On a side note I was listening to an economists talk tonight on a radio show and he was talking bubbles. Talked about student debt bubble, fracking bubble, etc. Then he said the one bubble nobody is talking about is the farming bubble. Said that ground exploded in price the last 10 years and grain markets have tumbled. Said their is going to be a bunch of guys going under with their purchases. | |
