The economics of ethanol make it such that maximum allowable demand makes sense. why the push for e15? the demand for higher blends is there as it is economic. It just takes time to build the infrastructure to do it. The RFS was supposed to help build the infrastructure, but big oil spend their time/money/effort on fighting ethanol instead of growing demand for their competition (which does make sense). | |
