Using the large 179 deductions -- maybe you could let us in on some of the better ways you see using these deductions.

I have used 179 with what I would consider good success but mostly to write off cash purchases and to some limited ability to even out income from one year to the next.

but I certainly am not an authority on these and have listened to my tax advisor to steer me in the correct directions.

Just looking to learn from some of the more successful users of these tax deductions
