gbryce - 12/14/2015 13:32 I am referring to this thread: http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=597020&pos... Dpilot, I notice you pull your Point A from a different point than I would. You pull yours from the 4/9/14 days high of $5.190 and I am pulling mine from the 5/9/14 days high of $5.194. Could someone explain the correct way to do this? I always thought the highest point was correct. Thanks for any explanation. Here is what I have: https://www.tradingview.com/x/eSpFOUeG/

Hi gbryce,

Either is ok, and you are right.  The textbook method is the high or lows of a swing.  That being said, I generally use the first one, and I am guessing that is why pilot chose the first.  Over time, you will become make the lines your own, and you will not always choose the highest high or lowest low all the time.

Hope that helps.
