Subject: Another country moves forward with Thorium

Looks like now Indonesia along with India and China have seen the future and fully understand that every unit of economic output is backed a unit of energy and that clean, safe, cheap abundant is necessary to raise their citizens standard of living.

Meanwhile the US still refuses to lead on this technology even after discovering the technology and running a reactor successfully a half century ago at Oak Ridge Labs. This is the future to cheap, abundant and safe electrical power plus the ability to produce synthetic fuel via Fischer Tropsch process from our abundant coal supplies, desalinate seawater and produce valuable isotopes for medical use and for powering deep space exploration.

This would also remove our need for any foreign oil and all the associated costs with defending oil interests and being in foreign countries where we are not welcome or wanted. Plants could also safely be located near the loads and use existing infrastructure & transmission lines that already exist while throwing power to them 24-7-365 to maximize the dollars invested.
