| By having the engine on TDC does that mean you have the bolt out of the front cover and screwed back in the timing hole into the camshaft . You can remove the gear without the puller but it is a tapered fit and stuck on very tight .I believe it takes two 1/4 inch coarse thread bolts to screw into the gear and a round steel plate with holes for the bolts and a hole for the pusher bolt. the 1/4 inch bolts have to be hard or they may snap off . | |
