Subject: RE: sprayer for JD Gator....

Wellington, IL
I used some pieces and parts to make mine.

60 Gallon Tank
Electric Pump, I would have to look at the specs.
TeeJet 744E Boom Section Controller, it controls 3 sections, plus a small servo valve and pressure gauge.
All of this mounted to an old pallet that is cut to size for the gator bed with the tailgate up. ALot of times I store it on a trashcan or table so I can load it by myself, its not heavy just big.

20foot X fold booms. the booms fit into the receiver hitch. The booms I can easily install by myself. I basically took an old pull type sprayer boom with some cutting/welding.
I also have the ability to switch over to the hose reel and use the handheld gun. It works great for barnlots, buildings, and fences.
I bought most of my spray parts through Fast, but I am able to spray 10gallon an acre around 5mph. I mostly use it to spray my yard. Which is very large 6-8 acres.
Spend a few extra bucks and get the spring/check valve style tips. Pretty much eliminates dripping.
